Defining a Sleeping Room
For a studio (0-bedroom) voucher, a distinct bedroom with a door is not required. However, the living area must have a window (egress) and adequate square footage.
Note: A tenant with a 1-Bedroom voucher can rent a studio, but the Payment Standard will be capped at the 0-Bedroom rate (or actual rent, whichever is lower).
